Lead Teacher
Includes but not limited to: Plan and implement a full-day, year-round, developmentally appropriate curriculum including weekly themes and lesson plans, inclusion of theme-related materials, and rotation of toys and equipment on a regular basis. Provide safe, responsive, stimulating environment by actively engaging oneself in daily activities and routines. Form and maintain professional relationships with parents and families. Assess all areas of development of children using the center’s curriculum, assist and support Director in the daily operation of the center
Responsible for supervision and direction of Assistant Teachers. Maintain all certifications as required. Ensure compliance with Bright from the Start rules and regulations. Must maintain patience and positive demeanor and able to handle stress. Must be able to handle the max child to staff ratio.
Required Qualifications
Early Childhood Education degree or related field, Teaching degree or related field, Child Development Associate (CDA) credential or equivalent, or must be enrolled in CDA or TCC program. At least two years’ experience working with children in home or center setting. Must have patience and positive demeanor, able to handle stress, and embrace teamwork
Assistant Teacher
Includes but not limited to: Assist the Lead Teacher in planning of weekly themes, lesson plans and daily activities. Maintain a safe, healthy environment for children at all times. Actively engage in daily activities and routines with children. Maintain all certifications as required. Ensure compliance with Bright from the Start rules and regulations
Required Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent. Must obtain CDA or TCC in time frame allotted. One year experience working with children in a home or center setting. Must have patience and positive demeanor, able to handle stress, and embrace teamwork
